Course Introduction:
The course was created by the SCA Specialty Coffee Association
It is divided into coffee introduction and 5 major subjects, including barista skills, extraction, green beans, roasting, sensory
Each subject subject is divided into basic level, intermediate level and professional level, with a total of 16 courses, of which the content level is from shallow to deep.


Students who complete the course and successfully pass the exam will be issued the "SCA Specialty Coffee Association Coffee Skills Course Certificate" and obtain corresponding course credits
After successfully accumulating 100 credits, you can get an additional "SCA Coffee Skills Diploma Certificate"

Class language: Cantonese Chinese
Written test language: English or Simplified Chinese (multiple choice)
Object and requirements: 16 years old or above (coffee lovers, aspiring baristas, no experience in brewing is acceptable)

- 7 hours / 1 day full-time course
- 5 credits

 
The Brewing Foundation course introduces the learner to the different methods of brewing coffee. The learner will receive theoretical andpractical hands-on instruction for a range of devices including automatic and manual gravity brewers, as well as other commonly used brewerswithin their local culture. Learners will also explore how to produce a tasty brew based on an understanding of the essential brewing elementsand an analysis of their brew results.

- 14 hours / 2 days full-time course

The Brewing Intermediate course builds on the concepts and skills introduced in the Foundation course. It is ideal for someone who has brewingexperience and wants to explore how to improve coffee quality. This course covers a wide range of topics, including an exploration of thebrewing process in terms of device, extraction order and wetting; the essential elements of brewing and their individual influence on the finalcup; the scientific method of measuring and charting coffee strength and extraction; the analysis of brewed coffee and adjustments toconsider in order to deliver a delicious, well balanced cup; and the importance of cleaning and maintenance.

Foundation $2,800

* Course details:
1. In general, the last registration date for the course is 7 days before the start of the course.

 2. Once the course registration is confirmed, it cannot be changed to other courses or cancelled. All paid fees are non-refundable, and course places are not transferable.

3. If the student is absent from the class, it will be deemed as abandonment automatically. The tuition fee paid will not be refunded, there will be no make-up classes and no transfer to other courses.

4. The course enrolls students on a first-come, first-served basis. Places are limited, while stocks last.

5. If the course needs to be cancelled due to insufficient enrollment or other reasons, the center will notify the student by email or phone at least 5 days before the class to cancel the course. Students can choose to enroll in the same course or apply for a refund.

6. Students who fail to pass the exam can get one free re-exam, and the fee for subsequent re-exams is $880 per person.

7. In case of any dispute, Lov Lov Coffee Limited reserves the right of final decision.
